You must not provide false, misleading or fraudulent information.

2. Your Tutor Account

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for protecting your account login details.

You must not create an account using another person’s identity or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

You must notify LessonsMalta.com if you believe that your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Tutor Verification

LessonsMalta.com may ask some tutors to provide additional information as part of our verification process.

This may include:

  • An iLearn email address or another established educational institution email address.
  • Information relating to a school or educational organisation.
  • A Maltese Teacher’s Warrant number, where voluntarily provided.
  • Other information reasonably required to support the verification process.

Providing verification information does not guarantee that your account will be verified.

Verification also does not mean that LessonsMalta.com endorses, employs or guarantees you as a tutor.

4. Teacher’s Warrant

If you provide a Teacher’s Warrant number or other professional information, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You must not claim to hold a qualification, warrant or professional status that you do not have.

Where appropriate, LessonsMalta.com may request additional information or carry out reasonable checks.

5. Your Tutor Listing

You are responsible for the content of your tutor listing.

Your listing must accurately describe the lessons and services you actually offer.

You must not:

  • Claim qualifications you do not possess.
  • Make misleading claims about your experience.
  • Guarantee examination results.
  • Misrepresent your teaching services.
  • Use another person’s photograph or information without permission.
  • Upload unlawful, offensive or inappropriate material.

6. Subjects and Services

You should only list subjects or services that you are genuinely able and permitted to provide.

If a particular subject, profession or service requires a qualification, licence, warrant or other legal requirement, you are responsible for ensuring that you meet the applicable requirements.

7. Lesson Arrangements

You are responsible for agreeing directly with the student or parent on matters such as:

  • Location

16. LessonsMalta.com’s Role

LessonsMalta.com is a platform and does not directly employ, supervise or manage tutors.

We do not guarantee:

  • The number of students you will receive.
  • The accuracy of information provided by students.
  • That a student will attend a lesson.
  • Payment by students.
  • The outcome of lessons.
  • The suitability of a student or tutor.

Tutors remain responsible for their own services and professional conduct.

17. Privacy
